MEMORY LETTER - SPONSORSHIP
For only $20, you get one collectible button & a one (1) page handwritten letter or postcard placed in the Time Capsule. Mail your letter or post card to P.O. Box 660071, Miami Springs, FL 33266. The Button will be delivered to you for free if you live in Miami Springs or neighboring cities. Make sure the name on the return address is the same name that purchased the sponsorship. Thank you! All letters or postcards must be received before November 14, 2026 if you want to get in the capsule. We cannot guarantee your spot in the capsule if received after Nov. 14. Thank you! Note: You can purchase a collectible postcard for $4.00 at the shop. Postcards will be delivered to your door free of charge if you live in Miami Springs or neighboring cities.
TERMS & ACKNOWLEDGMENT By purchasing Memory Letter Sponsorship, which includes a 1/2 page letter or a post card ("material") for inclusion in the Miami Springs Centennial Time Capsule, the contributor acknowledges and agrees that:
Upon placement into the Time Capsule, the original contents become the property of the Miami Springs Historical Society & Museum, as the steward of the capsule and its contents.
Letter/post card may be displayed, exhibited, archived, digitized, or made available for public viewing at the discretion of the Miami Springs Historical Society & Museum, consistent with its curatorial and archival practices.
In the event the Historical Society & Museum is unable to serve as steward at the time of opening, the City of Miami Springs may assume stewardship responsibilities.
The steward will make reasonable and good-faith efforts to contact contributors or their successors in connection with the opening of the capsule in 2076; however, successful contact cannot be guaranteed.
At the discretion of the steward, contributors may receive:
- The original material, or
- A digital or physical reproduction; or
- No return, if materials are retained as part of the permanent historical collection.
6. The Purchaser will mail the 1/2 page letter or post card to: P.O. Box 660071, Miami Springs, FL 33266 before November 14, 2026.
If you are submitting a letter, please include a Name & Contact Information for someone in 2076. This contact information will not be shared with a third party. It will only be shared with the Scout, & Capsule Steward for future contact. Purchase of this sponsorship package constitutes acceptance of these terms.
