THE LEGACY CAPLET - SPONSORSHIP

TERMS & ACKNOWLEDGMENT By purchasing a caplet for inclusion in the Miami Springs Centennial Time Capsule, the contributor acknowledges and agrees that:

• Upon placement into the Time Capsule, the original contents become the property of the Miami Springs Historical Society & Museum, as the steward of the capsule and its contents.

• Caplet contents may be displayed, exhibited, archived, digitized, or made available for public viewing at the discretion of the Miami Springs Historical Society & Museum, consistent with its curatorial and archival practices.

• In the event the Historical Society & Museum is unable to serve as steward at the time of opening, the City of Miami Springs may assume stewardship responsibilities.

• The steward will make reasonable and good-faith efforts to contact contributors or their successors regarding the opening of the capsule in 2076; however, successful contact cannot be guaranteed.

• At the discretion of the steward, contributors may receive:

            - The original contents of their caplet, or

            - A digital or physical reproduction; or

            - No return, if materials are retained as part of the permanent historical collection.

• You can include a USB Drive. Please note that all USB Drives will be viewed to ensure the content is not inappropriate. Any content deemed inappropriate will be deleted without prior notice. All USB Drives will be backed up to Millennium Disk.

• Please fill your caplet & mail it to us or drop it off at the mail:  The Centennial Time Capsule, 501 Curtiss Parkway, Miami Springs, FL 33166, on or before November 14, 2026.

• Cut-off date: If we do not receive your Caplet on or before November 14, 2026, we will not issue a refund, as it is considered a donation. 

• Purchase of a caplet constitutes acceptance of these terms.

The Legacy Caplet is a 1.04oz waterproof, aluminum storage container. This caplet will be custom engraved and placed in Miami Springs Centennial Time Capsule to be opened in 2076.
